Description
The Women's Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art invite you to a Preview Cocktail Buffet celebrating the 35th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. This juried exhibition and sale features the work of 195 of the best craft artists in the United States. This year's guest artist program will showcase artists from Scotland. Media represented: fiber, glass, wood, metal, clay. All work is one-of-a-kind and handmade by the artists at the show.
The Preview Party is held on the show floor of the Philadelphia Museum of Art CRAFT SHOW at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Exhibit Hall "F", 12th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
All work, whether one-of-a kind pieces or limited editions, is well conceived and expertly executed without technical faults; works are made by hand and or with the use of appropriate tools, showing imagination and the mark of each artist's individuality. The categories represented are basketry, ceramics, fiber, furniture (includes all media), glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, handmade paper, wearables and wood.
